We offer tailor-made educational courses for all levels, ranging from primary and lower secondary education to lectures and debates. Regardless of level, the goal is to examine the society we live in and to provide the recipient(s) with the opportunity to form informed attitudes about gender.
Read more about the courses / lectures here:
Gender and Politics – What is gender really? And how do politics work in conjunction with gender equality policy? What is the real purpose of Danish gender equality policy? The course contributes to a broad and introductory knowledge of gender in society and the structures that maintain gender norms. Introductory gender equality legislation and electoral behaviour are also explored.
Feminist Waves and Gender Equality from an Historical Perspective – The trajectory of women’s struggles in Denmark from the late 1800s until women are granted the right to vote. Later, the Redstockings Women’s Liberation Movement transforms Danish society, but are we so equal now?
Gender in Family Life and the Labour Market – In Denmark, women have long been self-sufficient, but the distribution of unpaid work in the home is lagging behind. There is also still a wage gap between women and men in the labour market, and strong gender division in the employment sectors.
